All those correspondents who were knocking the UK and praising Germany's handling of Coronavirus have suddenly gone very quiet!

Deaths in the UK vs Germany in the last 24 hours: 269 vs 39. Did I miss something?

Maybe just depends what we can beleive (to early in the crisis to know what is fact and what is Speculation) weekend figures for uk can not be relied upon but yes they appear to be falling whereas Germanys are again rising after they ease ther lockdown (which I suspect will be repeated here although I sincerly hope not) time and history will tell.

My post you have qouted refers more to the fact that the silence of the main antagonists on here reworking old auguments over and over again and trying to score points against one another, was refreshing.

Nothing more to say from me other than stay safe folks

People will also be free to sit in parks, and be able to "play sports" with people from the same household.

So golf alone or with mi misses. 🏌️*♀️💑

Having slept on the news that boris gave.

It was pathetic timing to inform construction and manufacturing workers they should return to work on Monday morning.

The announcement should have been made public on Thursday.

I think that whilst they will be allowed to, some might take longer than others to open up the site.

If you flip it, it would have seemed odd to say "as from Thursday...." as then you'd have had people asking what has changed since Tuesday or Wednesday.

Overall, I was disappointed. I think the speech missed two elements of clarity.

    1. Dates fixed for schools. That would have then tied in with the back to work message.

    2. Family visits. Based on what Boris said yesterday, the wife and I can get in the car at 5 am, drive up to Fort William, pop up the Ben, nip in to Morrisons at Fort William, back home, stop off at Cairn Lodge on our way back.....
But we can't have any of the grandkids round for a visit, despite all family being locked down for 8 weeks now.

I also thought the comment on fines was wrong.

Meanwhile here in Wales we continue to stay at home and watch what occurs in England with interest.
    No fishing for us yet
