And that's one of the parts that bothers me. When I had the flu jab last year I went in to the room and the nurse was sat ready for me with the syringe already filled. Thinking about it after I thought next time I'm going to say something about that procedure. Really we should be able to witness the nurse opening packets and or drawing up fluids in named containers so we at least know what they are putting in us. By not doing that they are really asking for unearned trust and that isn't on.

I know an anti-vaxxer. He was telling me about how governments would make it compulsory and they would start with the oldest in society and work their way down to the rest of the population. Anyone not having it would be excluded from society and face the prospect of starving through regulation. A colleague who was with me listening said 'nar it'll never happen' but actually he may be wrong on that score.

Anyway the anti-vaxxer said the end goal is de-population. That the vaccine will change DNA in humans, weakening them and killing them off in a world wide cull. He really believes it. When I ask him for what purpose he just says 'they' want the world for themselves. He also keeps saying 'I know it sounds crazy.' Yes it does and I don't believe it but when the government start forcing people I start wondering if he's right.

Vaccination in schoolchildren was mandatory for influenza in Japan for a while. There's an article on it here:

    https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.105...20low%20levels.

So it sounds like the covid vaccine is not going to be mandatory here, but we're still discussing what it would mean if it were mandatory.

CL's anti-vaxxer is wrong. A lady in the queue at ASDA in February assured me it was all a plot and hoax by international banks. They first would place a chip in our arms to monitor our location and movements. Then the elderly would be killed off in order to grab their assets. I immediately practised, what is now known as social distancing.

I love all this ‘if the vaccination were compulsory’ rambling. Its not compulsory though is it? And the queue to take the place of anybody who doesn’t want the vaccination will be what 65,000,000 strong so, you know, no worries.

Who needs a chip in the arm when most people willingly carry a smartphone round with them? With a tracking app on it too ffs (chortle). Oh and Bill Gates is behind the depopulation conspiracy.

"Harry Enfield and Chums". I don't think he was ever in the Fast Show although Paul Whitehouse was.

Think this was my favourite of Frank from the self-righteous brothers meeting Damon Hill.

I am not at all keen on compulsory Covid vaccination, but I think people would be mad not to have it.

As to infant and childhood vaccinations, wow, what a can of worms.
