Lovely 7 mile run around Newborough Forest and Llandwyn Island, stunning being out on the island, big seas, mountains in the back ground, storm clouds, setting sun. Magical run.

5 a.m. start in the dark and into the trees, where it's darker. Up, up and out, round the back of the dam with the sun rising. Deer scarper off the trail, scooting up the hill side considerably faster than I ever could. Pop out onto the road to traverse the front of the dam, a troop of monkeys are lying picking at each others fur and nuzzling a nipple or two. Back down through the trees, more deer scooting left and right. Pull-ups on a tree 'till my arms hurt and back for a bowl of porridge before the kids and the wife get up. 7 miles.

    Now for the day...

You know, last time I was in Bacup I thought I saw a bit of nipple nuzzlin' going on under one of the bushes by the side of the road. Late on a Friday night though, couldn't quite make out the species. This particular troop were here.
