and on and on, ad nauseum.

Can't we all just agree to disagree about all this.

I've stopped bothering about it all. The way i see it, the virus is so many generations on it's more than likely changed completely.

Have you seen the thread title? No one can stumble on here accidentally not knowing what it's about.

Talking through issues matters and if it doesn't matter to you, when you come on the forum and check out the "new posts" avoid the threads that do not engage you.

If there is no discussion, we may as well pull the plug on this forum right now. It's your choice.

Marco, I would like to know from where you plucked the idea that I believe that my opinion is better than the statistics produced by Gov.uk and the ONS?

For the record, I have had all my Covid jabs so far, 5 I think, and as I turn 65 tomorrow I shall be having my next one, plus my free flu jab, as soon as possible after Shelf Moor on Saturday 23rd, that's if my still sore back allows me to run.

I think the point here is that post Brexit squabbles nearly brought this forum to an end, and I was no angel either, but we have recovered and the Forum has become an entertaining, enjoyable and enlightening place to visit.

It just feels to me that the Covid discussion has the potential to get out of hand and downhill we shall go, quicker than Euan Patton at Tryfan!

Not from me it won't Llani.
Whether you have noticed or not, I have steered clear of many such issues of late which leaves me not a lot to talk about as I'm training like bag of spanners and haven't raced this year.
But the matter was brought up and I bit.
Maybe go back to page one of this thread and have a read from top to bottom and note #10

In response to WP's discussion of excess deaths, I yesterday posted an extract from the ONS spreadsheet that showed figures for non-Covid-19 deaths and below are the next two posts in order - and one of them is yours

I think that's been updated recently to read:

    There are:

    Lies
    Damn lies
    And Statistics
