2.5 miles - not much I know, still testing out the knee gently.

Yesterdays cycle seems to have done some good - it only felt a bit funny, not actually painful for the first time in weeks

I did a massive 6 miles this morning. That's it 'til Saturday when I'll spend most of my day weeping around langdale, or maybe sobbing will be a more accurate description hmmmmmm

Left home at 0730; a cheeky chappy told me to keep on running. I suggested that he run too. Saw Bobby at the School. "Liverpool were rubbish last night " I said. "Diabolical" came the reply. It was cool, but I was warming up. By the brook the traffic was heavier than usual and I climbed the hill avoiding pedestrians. In Partingdale Lane (open to traffic once more!) I caught a leaf as it fell from a tree then turned right for the final stretch to work. 3 easy miles. Much better than driving in.

    I ran a bit.

Knee starts to hurt around the 2 mile mark!
