    10.5miles 1600ft on the roads,

Darwens roads are hilly you know (fell runners winter paradise), you have just got to go out and find them and perhaps run the same one twice or three times.

Felt pretty good tonight to say I did the langdale on saturday

Still struggling with this bloody hip injury. Its fine on the bike but painful when trying to run - looks like another few days rest at the least before I will be running again.

No not had any physio but that sounds like a good idea. Not had any physio since my footballing days.

Just under an hour from Ogden Water, moorland and woodland loops including a first ever visit to the Giant's Tooth (see 1 January entry in FRA calendar).

Try these. www.athletematters.co.uk well worth a visit if local. I travel 30 minutes when roads are quiet to get to see Duncan Mason but well worth it.

Tonights training started wet and ended as wet.
5 miles this morning at 5.45am and it was raining hard. The truck drivers going over woodhead would have wondered what the hell I was doing as I ran through Tintwistle.
Tonights training was 8 x 3mins off 1 min jog. Started dry for about 1 minute until again the heavens opened. Did about 12 miles in total, up to Crowden campsite and then down the trail. Very very wet.

I wonder what the weather will be like when I get up.
