Well I wish it was an hour or so meandering hither and thither accross the finest fells imaginable. Alas it wasnt - 30 mins on yet another treadmill
Ive met you Dominion - I think it was at this years Lads Leap where we both suffered in the heat.
Currently living in New Hampshire USA and seeing far to many hotel treadmills for my liking
20 miles 2,200ft over the hills Back just in time to pick daughter up from school.
Route included Black Hill-Crowden- Bleaklow-Barrow-Grinha, very wet and very drained (Fells are the first bit I'm the second) ran between 5 aircraft wrecks. great day out,
Just up from your house AJohns
How long did that little trip out take Ian?
Just done 13 miles on the moors, on and around Hobson Moor.
And I did 5 miles this morning.
Set off at 9.00 in very thick fog. Sunshine broke through as I got to Blackhill. took Tankies route down but went over Silsden to the two Meteors-Crowden Dinner by TPT up Stable Clough to turning circle over moors to Birching bank (Wellington) - Black Moss(Blackburn)- Nr Bleaklow Stones (Defiant) then Watershed to Featherbed and over Roundhill for 3.00.
Some searching for wrecks that weren't obvious so not running then. Also tried to find some tea Plants FOUND 1 only 6 to go.
Total time 6.00
Bloody long run Ian. Impressive route. Might combine Black Hill and Bleaklow together on Sunday for my long run.
