    have the same problem myself.. eventually he gets bored and decides to "herd" me usually resulting in me tripping over him and bouncing down the hill on my backside.... good club session last night.. flat run along canal towpath from Whaley Bridge to Furnace Vale, then some hills on the roads around and then a blast back.

    1:20 on the fells, first run in the dark and on mi tod this side of winter!

    Weimerraner has no herd instinct, just charges up and down!! Great stamina though. Nice run in mist this morning round Shelf Moor race route, grey dog disappears in mist, only see him at the last minute when he's charging at you! Good for reflexes! I think he saw/smelt some hares as he charged off a few times, too much clag for me see. Hares laugh at him though!

    That'll teach me to get a Finnish Lapphund (reindeer herder).. he's loving it now its getting colder.. bring on the snow.

    monday-rest
    tuesday-4 mile cross country
    today-3.5 mile cross country

    think i've lost it doing all this training

    9 miles with my torch on just , fab night , loads of stars
    still not back to normal with this damm cold
    nearly ran into 3x erewash valley runners with no torches on

    am 50mins
    pm 22min warm up, 8x300m off 100m very slow jog (45secs), 15min warm down. Nice sharpener for the National Road Relays this weekend.

    Looking forward to a 2 hour plus fell run in Macclesfield Forest on Sunday morning!
