Google translate is brilliant - that reverse translates to English as:

'My pony was running vest is here'
Have you tried it on yet Stolly??

    Rule 9a states:
"Runners may count in competition for their first claim fell*running club only"

My guess would therefore be that problems would only arise if a Pony who belonged to another club tried to count in competition as a Pony, or if a team of second-claim Ponies was up for a prize.

Whilst as free spirited creatures we will toss our manes and whinny "Fie upon your rules," I'm sure none of us wants to make the life of a race organiser any more difficult than it is already. This might mean exercising judgement about when and when not to be a Pony.

Personally, I'm so unlikely to ever count in competition for any club that it's totally irrelevant which vest I wear and I'm hoping that my brand new Fell Pony saddlecloth arrives in time for a gallop out at the Shepherd's Skyline!

yep - that's kinda what I was thinking too!! On the highly unlikely to ever be in contention for anything other than a trot over a furlong or two - this galloping malarky is over rated

Perhaps one solution is to inform the race organiser that we're not exactly a team, more a random assortment of frisky quadrupeds.
An alternative approach would be to be a team committed to losing. No-one ever raises problems unless a team gets among the winners. As indicated earlier, I would have no difficulty in following a strategy that involves finishing well down the field. I appreciate that this might be harder for others.
