If you don't mind me asking, how open is the 'open invitation' to join you folks on your pre-Christmas outing?
I'm tucked away down in the Cotswolds and so any opportunity to get some time on the fells, and covering some BG route to boot, with some like-minded souls sounds too good to miss.
Honest answers please. I can handle rejection!

Jimmy boy, it would be an honour for me to accompany you on the fells on the Bobby G route and afterwards please please please let me buy you the first pint of fine lake land ale. if you need info on where to stay pm me if you need a lift from train station pm me if you need transport of any kind put up a link and i am sure a pony or any other forumite will help.

I've sorted out a B&B for the Saturday/Sunday nights and I reckon i'll be driving up so I just need to decide whether I'm going to tackle legs 1 and 2 or be a lightweight and start at Threlkeld. Either way, I'll keep my eyes peeled nearer the time for kit drop info etc
