    Re: Today's Training

    Oh that's happened to me.

Question is, do you run faster to get to the loo quicker but then...erm... well shake things around a bit more than you would like, or do you go slower and walk I have had to pop in tescos loos a couple of times in an emergency

Oh anyway, I did a couple of miles at lunchtime and was crap, I don't think I will ever be able to run again

7 mile night run around the country lanes where I live, picked up a lone runner with no head torch, had a good chat and he said he would join us on monday for our hill session.
On stopping outside my new local pub at the end of the run i said would you like a beer, his reply...

    yes please, I live here!!

Thats a handy contact in a club!!
Half mile reps last night but didn't push to hard as XC on Saturday and left calf giving me gip.

This should have its very own thread (how about 'Today's Pooing'? ) given that its such a common problem running, especially up in the hills. At the weekends, when I tend to run in the mornings, my wife often gets exasperated that I don't go out early enough (so that I return earlier and have more time to do frigging chores). My explanation is that nature has to run its course prior to me going off running and I seem to be on a clock that needs me to be up an hour or so before any 'progress' is made

One hour off-road last night with club-mates round Silsden

I work from home and get an email every Friday asking for detail of next week's "Movements", always raises a smile!

    Re: Today's Training

half hour work out this morning at home

couple miles just now in my new feet

time will tell if they are really working, but no knee pain, calf muscles feel a lot easier than before, so fingers crossed
