Anyone recognise the lady 'whipper in' on last pic of the 2nd set?

Just read Funzles lot on the previous page.

In my view it was unfair of the race official to have sent a runner off to fetch his cag, then fail to inform the race starter so that they could check he'd made the start line.

After all, we waited for those 2 late entrants.

Too late now of course, but one to bear in mind, i feel.

The official was doing his job. The starter - ME - did know he'd sent them off to get a top. I insisted that they go and get a top - it was their own fault that they went up to start without anything as it was clearly signed at registration and was announced by me several times. I cannot believe that anyone turns up at a race in NOVEMBER thinking they'll not have to carry anything - it's the first thing I find out when I register. I delayed the start several minutes as it was. It would be unfair on the rest of the runners who did have the required kit to hold the start any longer.

With all due respect to those who organise races, I think we should have the right to disagree. If the circumstances were as are described I think Batman was wrong.

I think "wrong" is the wrong word to use.
