For some reason, Allan can't log in. He wants to say thank you for everyone for turning up today!! Also, thank you for your positive comments.

He'll say more later no doubt.

What ho Danbert! Shame you couldn't make it along today. By the way, the old man was really impressed on Saturday when the Rochdale crew actually shouted out "Strength and Honour" before the start of the race - excellent stuff

Highlight of the White Holme race - watching GrahamB trying to put on his cag in a howling gale without breaking his stride or running straight into one of the reservoirs. A masterly display of athleticism and choreography.

Well done this weekend to all you crazy people.

    Woof!

Apparently "Strength and Honour'' was a call of the gladiators which i have to say seemed most fitting and appropriate yesterday.

Tell the old man he's a resilient bugger doing what he's done this weekend.

Thanks everyone, especially Forumite Clive who stood out on the Pennine Way in a howling gale. Results here. Couldn't fit the chpt one times and positiions column on this post as there isn't sufficient width in the "submit" box.
So memory map was accurate all along.

    nice one stringman
really have to say you looked the part at the race and i was impressed by the simplicity of it all

    ah the memories
    pub registration
    home made numbers , cool
    pasting table for drinks, ace

but then when we got back into the pub you was tapping into a computer that looked like it was controlling the meer space station
certainly made for a fast results service though
    cheers

Pah! That second cost me some lovely socks as well. Don't worry when I'm not flu'd up to the eyeballs and a bad knee (etc...) he'll get whats coming to him...
