Sunny here at the moment; the calm before the storm.

    I'm in serious quandary.
Nasty cold has almost gone. Still got a bit of a cough. I can still hear that I'm a bit chesty.

Am I going to do myself some harm if I run tomorrow? Even if it's not at marathon pace, all those hours out in the damp might not be the best idea...

basil im prob 4 days away from being okay but im doing it , i know what you mean its a damm long day out if your not feeling right. Im still coughing and spluttering but my lower body feels okay . i think im going to take it slow slow slow for sure.
this is a new distance for me and im worried about my knees more than owt, when i last did 26miles my left knee totally gave up on me.

    Daz,

Im only really carrying my usual achey ankle, but if the knee starts going Daz and with the chesty cough. There is no shame in bailing out half way, its a hell of a long way.
Im not trying to be negative or anything by the way.

If I was carrying an injury and it went I certainly would not risk further injury and jeopordising future races and stuff.

    Cos I hate not racing.
