Merry Christmas to one and all, and all the best for the coming year.

I missed the Christmas on the Fells, but took my lad up to the glorious Shutlingsloe. The views were something else and I even had a comedy tumble on the way down. 'All part the experience son'.

    Cheers.

Ah, Shutlingsloe and the Macc Forest is a wonderful area - did you get over to the Hanging Gate pub?

Sadly, no. We even went past the St. Dunstan without stopping for one... shameful behaviour.

Nonsense...being so tough i am accustomed to only ever wearing shorts. Is it any wonder i didnt know which end to put my hoof in?

Wonder what would happen in a race.....would any of you be prepared to stop and dress your fellow runner?

    Cheers Daz!
