Well, better than I'd thought...but me pal still beat me by (I reckon) about a minute and an half. Still...the season's young eh! ...and I do have a cold (I think I may have mentioned it once or twice too often today as well )

Anniversary Waltz is a good race about that time as I recall (...tho maybe just a tad cruel as a first run back perhaps )

Calf, going to give it at least a week before I try anything. It doesn't hurt walking anymore but I know from past experience that even if it feels okay it'll just breakdown again if I try anything too soon.

It doesn't really matter whether the race was 3 miles or 30 miles. It went after 1/2 mile!!

Well, I made a decision to try and reduce the sleep deprivation I seem to get into during the week so vowing to go to bed before 11 each pre-weekday evening. I must be getting old
