Am trying to lessen the affect by eating several malted milk cream biscuits to soak it up. If no more posts from me then it's not worked![]()
it's been 27 minutes - should we worry yet??
Have not died- these 'consume by' dates must be all a myth to make us buy more food.
my mum once kept some Deep Heat for about 12 years after the "use by" date... didn't know deep heat had such a thing until it leaked all down her bathroom wall from the bathroom cupboard - I think that was just the metal corroding!!![]()
We were at the wife's dad's house a few years ago and she had a bad stomach with pains, etc and her dad said I've got just the thing for that. He rummaged in the drawer and gave her a pessary and said I've used these in the past and they work wonders. When we went home she gave it a whirl and within 30 minutes she was in the bathroom for the rest of the day and not a happy bunny. When she spoke to her dad later that night he said well, they worked fine for me when my mum gave them me - when was that she asked - when I was 18! Turn out they had been in the drawer for around 40 years![]()
She has accepted no further offers of medical aid from her dad since!!
