Thread: Today's Training

    Re: Today's Training

    Hope everything goes ok Andi.

But get what sleep you can NOW cause there isn't going to be much after!! Our little un arrived on New Years Day - and we haven't had any sleep since

Actually first run for me tonight since he was born - rather hard work after two weeks off.

8.35 miles with Tryfan and Sinatra plus two other work colleagues on the road tonight straight after work and we managed to miss the rain.

Was dry and quite mild here this evening after all the earlier rain - managed 45 mins all on road bar the steepest short uphill stretch on grassy verge!!

4.5 mile to work, tracks over moors were like rivers Ended up running through the heather. Was gonna cadge a lift home off me mate at 10pm but the radiators blown on his car so we both ran/walked home. Tried to motivate him into getting a bit more exercise and leaving the car at home and he said 'f***k you its easier to buy a new radiator' Lost another mate

    Re: Today's Training

Right I am going to get into this thread this year!

Last night was a club road hill session which felt good and I felt fast despite this being my first speed work since October. Thighs dead by last two hills and stomache very tight, but good work.

This morning was an easy 5 recovery run, ie 10 min miles, on hilly country lanes from the house (largely due to guilt as the dog is alone most of the day for a change).

Congratulations Bleaklow. I was looking for your mobile number this morning but had a different phone with me. Glad your baby is well, nice day to have him, right at the start of the new year. Helen OK?

Right, I am off for a 30 minute run. No such sleep to talk about in the last 48 hours, but got a few spare hours before I get to hopefully bring the two great women in my life home.

Another 30 min trail run today, looking forward to some longer runs soon. Started my core stability routine as well, keep falling over though

7.8miles 1200ft from Snake Inn all the way up Fairbrook direct to Kinder Downfall-across to Crowden Tower-across to Grindsbrook-Hartshorn Rock and across and under Seal Stones and down Gate Side Clough.

28 Dark Peakers having a good Warts night run joined by MattHunt for his first night run, I think he enjoyed it

Stunning night no wind you could see for miles, saw a head torch by Hayfield Res, was that LuvS and SteveT?
