From the comment about 'appropriately experienced runners' are they introducing some sort of entry qualifiaction?

Probably the normal question about running in similar events (as per ToP, 3P and Edale I guess).

You could always do Ennerdale or Duddon or Wasdale or lots of others

im going to give ennerdale a crack this year anyway and see if i get into borrowdale, what the hell, ive got dinner booked at the scafell so i hope i get in!

I think that's what I will do too (Ennerdale that is - not dinner at the Scafell )

The FRA website says that entries will be accepted from suitably experienced athletes. Any idea what this means in practise ? Do I need to go out and do a long race in May, as I haven't done one for a few years ?
