7 mile today in lovely hot weather ;)
Just done 10 miles. Woke up early so decided to go out for a run instead of distrubing Donna. Left the house just after 7am. Ran to Lads Leap. (More info about how dry it is on the course on Lads Leap thread) Nice and steady. Distrubed a few rocks on the course which followed me down hill and clipped the back of my lower calf area. Got a nice graze on it now. Thats it for me for the day, just one little 10 mile run. My body wont realise it is sunday after doing 2.5 hours for weeks now.
Birdie brow SPOCO event in summer weather. That hill's a killer in the middle of a time trial!!!!

Glorious run over Aran Fawddwy this morning. Damn blisters on each heel prevented a climb up Glascwm, so retreated, well hobbled, back to car...
On the go by half past seven and back in the car by ten. Home by twelve, so even the missus was happy (for once).....

This afternoon I ran up knowl hill, then down, then ran up knowl hill and down, then i ran up knowl hill and down. It felt much harder than it should have, think it was the sun ...

1 hour 48 mins setting off at 7 0clock this morning to avoid the midday heat.
Ran from stalybridge up the canal to dovestones round the reser and back down the roman road into carrbrook village then back into stalybridge.
Sat - first run in a week - half hour easy.
Sun - one hour easy
Stuck in a conference in Birmingham for the last 2 days - emerged blinking into sunlight a couple of times but nothing except muppet-infested tarmac to run on even if there had been time for a run :mad:
Gentle evening run to the top of Scout Scar and back in perfect conditions.
30 miles on the moors in the heat, and forgot the suncream , very very hot!! Water from spring in Broughton plantation roughly below wainstones is fine, tastes good
will be trotting over to the trunce and back tonight (6 ish miles) to cheer on the runners, not racing after lads leap yesterday

Sat on my ass and had wine. Only one mind, still felt guitly about it!:confused:
Am umming about running tonight and leaving it till sunday or more likely another rest today then a 4-5 miler tomorrow afternoon at mara pace.
Still got a bit of grief from my shin but not enough to warrant an excuse.
