8.5 mile lunch time run, steady paced along my usual route of Pex Hill and Blundells Hill going from Cronton to Whiston and back. Need to improve my speed work throughout the coming months as planning on doing a few 10k's and Half Marathons.

5x around tarn hows this morning from 6.30am. dodn't see a soul !! Coniston massive was framed under a rainbow.
12 mile beach run from Ravensglass tomorrow am.
didn't make it to double or quits race because of time so instead went out for a 9.5 mile run round home - went to the park and got heckled by fishermen :rolleyes:
God it was hot :o not quite dreading the half marathan as much now though :D
2 hours with Bone, Pike and a few others.
87 miles, 5,500' at just under 18 average on bike. Just about steady enough to enjoy for a change this Sunday.
A very light run today only 4.2 miles on the roads was going to use today as a rest day but to nice a day to do nothing.
Harter fellby the dunnerdale forest just south of hardknott pass. took the family and dogs for a paddle in the stream, and i nipped off for an hour. nice cool river to wash in after mind. nice rest day.

I went out on my baby bro in laws wonky mountain bike - but now feel very insignificant!!
it was windy if that helps but given I'm in the the flat fens of lincolnshire hill training it was not!!
although managed to overtake a couple of old duffers on the old 'motorised' bikes:eek: :cool:
1 hour 22 mins at least 12 miles
a lot better than yesterdays 1 hour 40 which was the worst sunday run i've ever had
another bike ride for me - this time a proper bike!
feel a bit too scared to run on my own round here - not sure I want to risk it:mad:
10K yesterday with 900ft of climbing. Boiling hot, saturated but it was done by 10.30am. Lovely to be out and about and I saw a kestrel right in front of me. Bbq at mates today - ate a cow.

5 miles on roads saving legs for Grisedale saturday.
Felt Tired and Jaded, was not in the mood for kids running after me and giving me grief
feet up and beer :D, it's what rest days are designed for
9.67 mile with Sinatra tonight from Cronton through to Sherdley Park and back. Ended with a very tight calf strain.
Yes, it was a nice run with Pinno yesterday evening until just after 9 miles when a feckin wasp flew into my shorts and stung me on the right inside thigh.
Fear not though, this wasp won't be bothering anybody else now I have squashed the little b*st*rd!!!
9 miles last night then woke up at 4.30am and went for a cracking 3 mile over the fields full moon run:)
I have to admit, it was a beautiful morning. When I fell out of bed at the unearthly hour of 10.30am I thought to myself, best go for my run or else I wont get my evening run in as well!!!!!
i had planned a late run last night as i always like to when its full moon but it was still cloudy , this morning was ace , nice and clear
how the hell do you keep yourself sane without running!!
It'll be five long months next weekend since i ran,cycling does help but i've come down with a cold and i cant even do that at the moment,i can climb but it's getting dark to early to go out in the evenings now,oh and i'm out of work at the moment so all i have to do is sit around and sulk waiting for interviews for apprenticeships

i should all being well be back running by end of september,get some miles in over winter and i'm going to do some big races next year and really enjoy myself,and hopefully do the threepeaks cyclocross aswell,i'm also joining a club again so i can have a bash at the english champs and relays next season,cant wait to get a job and get running again and get a car and get my life back again,this last year has been quite shit

Where are you based? Saddleworth way? There's always the Wimberry Boulders for, well a spot of bouldering, obviously. That's all I can think of at the moment. Search the web for bouldering, not sure how hard you climb though. let me know i might have more suggestions.
A very pleasant run from the Lamb at Chinley Head with Big Ken. Took in South Head, Brown Knoll,
Swines Back, Edale Rocks, Kinder Low End, Broad Clough, Kinder Reservoir and Mount Famine.
Glorious few days running in the Lakes, today was sunny sunny,sunny,sunny over Glenridding=>Helvellyn=>Grisedale Tarn=>St Sundays :)

Cycled to the park this morning at 7 am, found a nice spot, ate a picnic and cycled back again :D
