An 8 and a bit mile road run at, to use a Ben Hur-a-rism, full ramming speed. Pain on a stick for much of the last 4 miles :).
Believe it or not i dont mind winter training .
I seem to be able to get in from work change, stretch get out and back and as an old running friend of mine used to say "get Cabined up".
I look forward to the weekend runs inthe light and the occasional flexi days i can take of work and run on the moors.
nowt ankle giving me grief, will see physio
1/2hr run again at dinner onsite. really sorted my head out. Then back inside under a faulty strip light bulb all day until the engineer came to change it as I was about to leave for home.
8 miles tonight over the hills
felt totally deflated , very slow , think i may have 2 days off
50 mins tonight. Had to cut it short for a big poo.
Oh that's happened to me.
Question is, do you run faster to get to the loo quicker but then...erm... well shake things around a bit more than you would like, or do you go slower and walk  I have had to pop in tescos loos a couple of times in an emergency :o
Oh anyway, I did a couple of miles at lunchtime and was crap, I don't think I will ever be able to run again :(
Right, all you scatologists - change the subject.
Definition is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scatologists
7 mile night run around the country lanes where I live, picked up a lone runner with no head torch, had a good chat and he said he would join us on monday for our hill session.
On stopping outside my new local pub at the end of the run i said would you like a beer, his reply...
yes please, I live here!!
I nearly had to download in Tescos myself last night but thought I would make it home!!!
This should have its very own thread (how about 'Today's Pooing'?) given that its such a common problem running, especially up in the hills. At the weekends, when I tend to run in the mornings, my wife often gets exasperated that I don't go out early enough (so that I return earlier and have more time to do frigging chores). My explanation is that nature has to run its course prior to me going off running and I seem to be on a clock that needs me to be up an hour or so before any 'progress' is made :)
One hour off-road last night with club-mates round Silsden
I work from home and get an email every Friday asking for detail of next week's "Movements", always raises a smile!
4,o,clock Flight Leeds - Portugal 7 Days Warm Weather Training Can,t Wait!
half hour work out this morning at home
couple miles just now in my new feet :D
time will tell if they are really working, but no knee pain, calf muscles feel a lot easier than before, so fingers crossed :)
20 miles on the canal from Ashton to Diggle and back, seem to start feeling sick after very long runs, anyone else have this problem ?

I have found Glossop Tesco's very useful on winter road runs when I had to lose some weight very quickly:o !
Hour in woods with Tattie the retreiver. First time running with her in the dark and we both loved it. Two deer passed in front of us at one point, 50yds away - amazing sight in head-torch beam!
93 mins from Ogden Water car park, including most of the Ovenden fell race route. No poo stop required.
31 miles to Blithbury Reservoir. No poo stop required either! Just as well as there's no Tesco on route either!
Bloody hell Dom. Thats some run.
Steady hour for me on the Hobson Moor.
2 hours on the moors from my house up to wimberry rocks and over to alphin and back home through the fields, pretty wild on the tops today,it's not often i put my cag on but i had to today
I am not sure who HT is!!!
There is a man who lives on Coach Road who knows me as we know the couple who live opposite him and he tells us. There is also a lad on Hawthorns, just round the corner, who runs as well. Saw a few runners out on Hobson today.
Dom- You cheated!!!! I was thinking tonight when busy carpet cleaning (This is what Saturday evenings have come to now) that 30 odd miles is rather impressive and then wondered if you were doing the BG. Then you spoil it by telling us it was on a bike!!!!
Just Four miles for me today over Derbyshire Level, nice views though !
I did a 45 miler today............. in my car. Piece of piss - with a bit of luck I'll be able to get my mileage up to 600 or 700 a week ;)
