The cut off believe it or not is easy to make, as cut offs go. After the first climb from the village hall its a good track that only gets better all the way round to Mam Nick. The track after Mam Nick though goes tits up big time - I suggest you train by wading through bogs rather than worrying about the first half.

Last year I ran off like an idiot and completed the first half like speedy gonzalez. My wheels though fell of hugely in the second half, not particularly assisted by a crocked ankle coming off of Win Hill, and I was overtaken by 1000's if not 1,000,000's of runners
