Everything seemed to go OK last night.
Except, of course, a Barnsley AC guy collapsing. OK now though.
Thanks for your marshalling help two toenails. Did you end up sweeping with Jim?

Yes, but Jane told us to BOGOF and stop talking. We were putting her off.
Bought two nice cakes for 2night's race from the Market.
Home baked, but I'll pretend they are made by moi!

You all seemed to have fun in tonights short sprint around Hartcliffe hill. Plenty of forumite there.

Piglet,Plumbum, Mr Winskill who won, Toenails, Straggler?, Running man, plus one or two others.

    looked a bit wet underfoot

yes, i was there. it was a feeding frenzy for the students on all those lovely cakes.

    what a waste :-)

I did this race in its first year and when i say i did it that's not quite true really. I went over on my ankle again after about 3/4's of a mile, and the kind lads from woodhead mountain rescue offered to give me a lift back down to car park. the buggers only went and logged it as a rescue ffs! which is a bit emabarrasing really, being evacuated by the mountain rescue on 4k fell race.

not one of my proudest moments.

but its a great little race if you love cow shit, cow fields and students running off with prizes. i did actually enjoy it though...

Students are poor? Don't worry, they'll grow into rich and lazy teechers, like wot I ham! What time am I up?
Someone shouted," Nice to see you working!" as I SPRINTED to the stile. Not sure what that meant. I had helped out at two races this week. So, maybe ....
Ah well, holidays are coming soon..... Time for more training.

I wasn't racing I was marshalling with WMRT and then joined in the fun at the prize giving.

Just checking the results for last week's trunce. Did Vicky Penrose win overall and also beat the previous record, or is it a typo?
