well my legs are still a tad sore. Finishing with a 3000' descent is mind (and leg ) blowing, but what a fabulous route. I think it's as good as Peris for grandeur, mountain scenery and constantly interesting running, and the best race in England.
Well done to all the forumites and lurkers who did it, and commiserations to those who had to pull out. Next year eh?
Haven't got a number for Borrowdale, but I think I'll go up for the party anyway, and the abuse opportunities on top of Dale Head. Talking of which, thanks for the support on the way round, particularly the Clayton non-runners, who'd wussed out
