Hey up Al, set off for a run and see how you go, take it from there. If it hurts, cut your run short.

    All okay here thanks Merry,

Yep HM has been to Prague then back and then he is off to Barcelona before a trip around the world for a few months. Sounds exciting for him.

Its fine whilst i run, its after.
On thurs I did 6 miles with only i tiny niggle during the run.
I sat down when i got home and wrote my run in my running diary and then went for a bath. After my bath i went downstairs to sit and watch tv. When i stood up to trot off to bed it was asif my knee collapsed and the pain when i tried to walk wasnt very nice.
I had to walk without bending my knee so i looked light i was doing the goose-step.

How was pendle merry...what time did you get? I saw you on the pici's....you must be thick skinned to be only wearing a vest.

Think this is what I would have suggested too Pick a route where you're not too far from home and take it easy Al. When you start doing long hard runs like Roaches it takes a while for your body to get used to it and I suspect this is the case with you. Good luck!

Oki doki. I'll go for it then.
My run 2mz isnt a fell run, its from my door step and across the field and such like. A few hills in the route but nothing major.
Thick i'll either take a knee support with me or wear one from the start to keep it compressed because this always seems to stop the pain whilst running.

Get to the Doc's or Physio Al, goose stepping's not cool

Pendle was great, 3h 38m on Garmin. I was warm all the way round, its not the skin, it the flubber underneath that keeps me warm, takes 44 years of abuse to get though

I'll see how it goes first before i seek any sort of 'medical' help. I'll just grit my teeth and get on with it...unless it doesnt go away.

    44 - 18 =26.
So in 26 years ill be able to run without my layers.
Good on ya! I decided to give it a miss this year as getting cramp during the roaches which has really knocked my confidence...was regretting it today though whilst i was sat at home eating a bacon buttie thinking about all of you at Pendle
