I'm endlessly waiting for the new Mr Hudson record and counting down the days by listening to what is, in my opinion, the best debut album of all time "TALE OF TWO CITIES" by Mr Hudson.....unlike his new stuff but awesome
Fellmonster, how about a Fell Ponies band? If the Master owns a base guitar, I assume he can play it? That makes at least 3 of us as viable band members???

That's an interesting idea, Han. A pont hoe-down after Xmas on the fells.
What kind of music would you envisage......'music for horses to mate to'?
The Master tells me that he used to play bass in a band, and I have actually been present and heard him twang a few tunes. To be fair, his bass guitar is beautiful sounding, and he has a massive rack (told you he was a lady!)......I've also got a mandolin and keyboard, so it opens up a few more sonic doors for us.......what do you play Han?

Thank you kindly for listening. I managed to persuade the missus to listen to a few as well

Well, I sing, I play guitar and bass, as well as cello and been know to pluck a double bass in my days as well... I also play harmonium, Indian style harmonium that is... I own a keyboard, but I can't say I can play it... yet...

I'd envisage something rocky/bluesy? On a good day I see myself as a Chrissie Hynde with a touch of Eva Cassidy and Joan Armatrading... But I have sung Jazz as well
