We have a small herd of roe deer in my part of the world - see them many mornings when I'm walking the dogs. Saw a buzzard in Walshaw Dean today - a couple of weeks ago it was a pair of peregrine's hunting in almost the same spot.Originally Posted by Multiterrainer

We have a family of them too ! They are quite numerous in the upper Worth Valley & along the Bridghouse Beck into Oxen'ope. Lovely. See one up at Ponden Kirk quite often too. Luckily neither our resident mink or idiot rabbit / bird of prey / anything-that-moves killers have seen them.A pair of dippers yesterday

A dozen or so snow buntings (and an inch or so of snow too) on the summit ridge of Helvellyn today.
Two deer (maybe roe deer??) in Bingley (Altar Lane for those who know it).
