    Dark Peak Club champs

Very tough course with lots of route options

my route was 7.8 miles with 2,600ft. a bit breezy but the rain held off until the mad dash to the finish. A quick dip in the river and drinkees in Ladybowyer Inn aahhhhhhh Blonde

just about managed to keep emmi and mrs stagger in sight on a recce from marsden to crowden and back. they kindly did a lot of waiting and provided extra water and encouragement. that's the longest run i've been on in a while - worth leaving the house at ten to 7 for.....i think.

    Re: Today's Training

About 8 miles from home up to Ringinglow then to Hathersage road, up Houndkirk hill etc. Tried to overtake a landrover on Houndkirk road as last week but this one pulled over and stopped to let me pass which is not really playing the game.
