I've always loved The Owl and the Pussycat too merry

'Some honey and plenty of money, wrapped up in a five-pound note' sounds like kit requirement for a fab race I'd have to enter

Excellent Freckle. Dylan my 8 year old i will be there at the Anni too.

    A Fell Poets Schedule.

At first in april the anni waltz,
With my son who'll run with the other young colts,
Then in may is Pendle Clough,
Goodness me that will be tough,
June brings along the Wharfedale Half,
By then i should not need a scarf,
    Come July it's Holme Moss,
I hope to show it who is boss,
    August sun and Elsecar skelter,
Looks to be a real belter,
    In September it's Yorkshireman Marathon,
Last race before the big one,
Along comes October it's the Round Rotherham 50 mile,
I had to stop last year injured and this year i'll finish in style.

Oh and I know you have had a hearty meal but don't forget your fuel in the morn.....

    Porridge

    Why is there no monument
    To Porridge in our land?
It it's good enough to eat,
    It's good enough to stand!

    On a plinth in London
    A statue we should see
    Of Porridge made in Scotland
    Signed, "Oatmeal, O.B.E."
(By a young dog of three)
