Yeah, fine thanks. Luckily it had stopped by the time I hit him! He was pulling out of his driveway across the pavement as I was going past. It gave the poor chap the fright of his life as I shot across his bonnet.

Ha ha...I wish! No seriously, that wasn't meant to sound as dodgy as it does. It was just daft that I couldn't make any extremities work. I get that on the motorbike in winter when I can't even get in the house cos I can't make the key turn in the lock!

Hmmm...still sounds like a very narrow escape. You take care mister, we don't want to lose you.

Hey HHH, I got told this limerick last night and it made me think of your post about risking it for the biscuit.

There once was a young man called Paul,
Who went to a fancy-dress ball.
He thought he would risk it
    And go as a biscuit,
But a dog ate him up in the hall.

Don't you worry. I'm planning on being around for a long time yet.

    Plenty of races to run
    Plenty of poems to write
    Plenty more hours of fun
    Plenty more posts tonight.

There you go! Nearly as quick as TM. Although he'd have managed 3 verses in this time.

Brilliant! A poetic night in the pub it sounds like. Practicing for the FPS meet hey?

    You betcha!

Just found this, seems very apt!

There was a young lady named Bright,
Whose speed was much faster than light.
    She set off one day
    In a relative way,
    And returned the previous night.
