I spoke to Dalsiside and Manhar at the finish and they had both done very well. Cracking time Daleside.

Poor old Brett looked to be suffering.

    Well done everyone

Yep, I got it in both calves as I started to run after the CP on Whernside. Took until the steep descent to run it off then I was OK. Never usually suffer on other AL's but got it there and it happened at same place the last time I did it a couple of years ago. Must be due to using a completely new set of muscle groups as you come over the top and those that you've been using on the ascent just cramp up.

I got cramp on the top of Whernside too. I reckon it's to do with the long fast! flat run, before going to the big climb on Whernside and then moving back to the decending muscles, most of the other long races tend to be up or down with no long flat sections. I didn't get cramp on the 15 trigs and only get them once on the H H

Hot dog and millipede gave me a big smile with their big bell. you could hear it from a far.

I passed Dennis going under the bridge just before the finish.

JJ were you on the bridge on the right just after the crown, if so I think I saw you, we went passed so quick and I was looking for a vision with a whip

Boy that was hard, but feels great now. PB by 17 mins, 4:21 which was 1 min inside by goal so well pleased. Nice to Manhar again and IanDP.

CRamped up too on Whernside and on Inglebugger, strange inner thigh cramo, never had that before !!!

Going to be fun next year when they say there could be 800 runners !!!

Thanks go to the marshalls and organiser for a great day.
