Well done on carving at your time You may just be surprised next week!

Done some short, very hard efforts this morning, only 45 minutes of it, but my legs are hurting

thanks HannekeI think thats what i need some short hard stints. think i am getting fit enough to do some interval training so will start next week.
could do with someone with a moped to train behind as it is excellent for getting speed into the legs

I don't have a moped to train behind either Had a man on a bike to drag me around the roads in stead, but I seem to have overtaken him

Just training by HR at the moment, mainly on my own, seems to work well

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

66 miles with 3000' of climbing at 19.2mph av & 151 av heart rate. Not too bad going out with the group, certainly not as frisky as last Thursday. We did through and off on the 8 mile loop before the lunch stop at Scorton which showed an average of 19.3. Just 2 of us opted for the return through the Trough which was painful to say the least. I was ridden into the ground and felt like sitting up several times. I wheel sucked my way back to Whalley where the average still showed 19.3 and that was after the hills. I made my own way home from there and now feel quite sick.
