Feeling VERY jealous reading all these posts after my nightmare, I can't remember the last time I retired, possibly Tankys in 06 but at leas that time Imade it half way and not a very poor 1 mile.
Good to see so many of you there though and that made up for it alittle.
I think I got fed up explaining about my dicky ticker but heres an update. I ended up spending the night in Sheffields Northern General Hospitals Cardiac Ward after the condition I had during the start of the race continued through the day I felt like a pin cushion with needles and electrodes all over my body. I had
Atrial fibrillation Any how they pumped me full of drugs and was well enough to come home a short while ago. I won't be racing though for a week or two....maybe:wink:
