Today's wind tunnel training more like, not surprised they called the Tour Of Britain stage off, it's bloody dangerous out there!

Good consistent times on your runs Zoot
You should try an off road one sometime

Yes would love to, except not much of a mountain biker, would love an off-road run + road cycle combo ...

Was bloody windy in Richmond park on Sunday too - made the ride v taxing. Felt like I could've done better - staying up til 2am on saturday morning drinking probably didn't help too much.

2 of my friends were cycling the Dales Way at the weekend and I did a part of it from Redmire to Hawes (and back to Redmire). They carried on riding to Clapham but hit a storm. The weather was atrocious and as they were heading up a 1in4 they came across a bunch of cyclists who'd been doing LEJOG. One of their party had just overshot a corner and hit a wall...she died minutes later from head injuries. It has really shaken us all up.

Tragic news Hes. Next door neighbour's cousin died the other day whilst out on her bike. Take care out there folks.

    Be careful everyone out there.
I was going to do 50miles last night but the wind was still severe. So just found a quiet hill and did 20 reps
