Well what a fantastic day for it!! I'm so grateful to the organisers for going to all that extra effort with the parking etc, to make sure the event went ahead. Favourite race of the year for me, so I reallt appreciate it been on when plans have to change late in the day.

A touch damp underfoot but I managed not to fall. Did go waist deep in a puddle at one point though!! Lightfoot & Bell passed and re-passed us 4 or 5 times before Ricky dropped out, and Carl decided on a tactical vest to follow! Great race with the front few chopping and changing all the time. First few all within a couple of minutes of each other were:
