Yes, they are rebadged Van Nicholas ones, the ones where Van Nicholas thinks the welds aren't quite tidy looking enough

I fondled one of them... it didn't have the same effect as stroking bare titanium tubing...

Set the rollers up on the drive after work. Was planning 2 hrs. Which is the hardest session i do on them.Only managed 84 mins as the rain is belting down and staying on got a bit slippy.Tip when riding them in heavy rain, be careful when you come to stop.Tody welds hann. Was he an outlaw?

Tody welds... hmmm... not sure what they are

Right, home now, rollers in the kitchen, as it is absolutely bucketing it down here. Was going to go out on the MTB with lights, but no... I rather keep it safe, warm and dry

Track tomorrow morning me thinks, as more rain is forecast! Don't want to hurt those ribs again...

I was put off the Guerciotti's as they need Italian BB's - no big deal but there is less choice. The Ritchey frame and fork is going to be about £1000, don't think they are actually available yet. My plan is to build it up with bits off two other bikes and sell off the leftover bits plus some other stuff I don't need to pay for it. So hopefully it shouldn't end up costing me too much...

I was also wondering the other day whether to stick all the kit off my Alu Trek onto my Reynolds 631 frame, which then leaves me with a 9 speed Campag groupset for something Italian, like a Guerciotti.... Keeps me out of mischief?? :w00t:

...tubing is listed as triple butted heat treated steel. It is a thing of beauty, but I do wonder if it's over priced a bit?

I wouldn't say so, good quality material with a decent pedigree. It might not be welded by Tom himself like the one in the picture but I'm sure it will be well made. Plus look at it! It's beautiful and once you own it the thought of it being over priced will never enter your head again. And just imagine how you'd feel every time you see one if you buy something else.
