I haven't really looked at Target times, would be happy to avoid a dnf!
I've been doing the long runs at around 12 minute miles. That, combined with walking up any hills would perhaps get me round in 15 hours but I suspect that's a bit ambitious.
I always knew that the fellsman would be a mental discipline as much as physical. Bad weather doesn't bother me, I do better in pissing rain than hot sun so conditions shouldn't't be an issue. It all hinges on getting the miles in without injuring myself; that's what the gym sessions are about, hopefully!
