Is that an up & over? Into pull up then kinda reverse clean & jerk type move so your arms holding your body straight above the bar? Used to do them on local swingset on my runs. Can't really do in gym: pull up bar under low ceiling. I tend to do mine on the square tubing of the cross-cable machine, which doesn't lend itself to rotating the grip round the bar.

And, was I imagining things, or did I see AndyA leaving the gym (Crow Wood) as I was mid one of my row intervals?

    Looks like a Killer SS.

Been doing some searching this evening and found what I'm looking for just down the road http://www.olympicsportsgym.co.uk/

Yokes, sleds, atlas stones, logs the lot. Going to throw a session a week in at this place sometime in the new year. Great thing is you can pay per session which will work out well.

    It was, just a smidge!

Sounds like a really decent gym you've found there. I make best use of mine but it does miss some crucial bits of kit: no TRX straps, no tractor tyres... Nice tho', got a country club feel to it. Had to rethink my plan as was very busy with the after work posing crowd. Few large groups of lads stood around talking and feeling up their pecs In all honesty, over by the weights there was me and one other pair properly working out out of about 18-20.

No pain no gain; feel the burn; grrr; etc. Seriously tho', a body full of DOMS is a good indication of a proper all over workout. Another 2 or 3 sessions and that will probably go from pain to a reassuring taut feeling. Stick with it!

Anyways, I've now got an inexplicable hankering for a brew...

I'm trying..................Does MacDonalds count as protein? Seeing my massage therapist tomorrow for treatment on an existing injury, I think she's going to reduce me to a sobbing heap!
