You know I was afraid I was going to get slated for that article, surprised to see it so well received!

I saw the article a while ago and realised I was heavier than average, which was very depressing! It was good though because it made me confront the hard truth of what you need to weigh to be a good runner.

I was on holiday last week and I couldn't resist weighing myself when I saw a fancy set of scales in my hotel room. Turns out the High Peak Marathon and associated long races has been good for weight loss.

I'm well below average for my height now, but I've got a few kgs to go before I'm at 10% even then I think I could lose a bit more and not look emaciated.

no change for me - stuck at 81kg (although my "remaining" wasn't updated last time - should be 3kg)

I have renewed resolve though, and am determined to see a downturn next time

if it helps (or not) but I feel sooo much better now that I have got the weight down so much. I am amazed by some of the times I am doing on runs that I know very well.
