Which is why I generally ... and for the only time of the year .... get a top ten finish

Going to bring my snorkle and water wings for a trot round the long course. Who else is running it?

Think I'm gonna come for a pootle round the long course. Done the 16miler for the last 3 years , but figure the long course will be a good bit of last minute training for the RR50... trying to persuade the boyfriend to do one of the walks for his first taste of the Outer Edge bogmonster

Ian, not part of our champs, but I will be bringing probably four others along, all of whom despite my pleas will be EODs.

Enjoyed it today. Very tough over the moors and had to spend 2 minutes extracting my shoe out of a hungry bog! Great food at end and big thanks to WMRT for putting it on.

    Great day out.
Great route, great checkpoints, well organised and lovely stew at the end.
Going over the tops was a classic bog fest, full of comedy falls and people going up to their knees/groin/chest.
I heard tales of at least two people having to be virtually winched out of the bog.
    Surprisingly small field though.

    Was it warm?

I had a nice trot round the long route with Rachel FR. Good day for it, not many long runners, about 12?

It was bloody freezing! I'd had enough by that point... mind, turned out well in the end. Had a great trot round with Dogruf and we didn't lose any club members :-)
