This was the 4th time I'd done this race and this year decided to take a video camera with me. My Mrs every year asks me what it was like. I've uploaded it onto YouTube so anyone who wants to relive parts of the route can do. It lasts about 11 mins but you just have to put up with my monotonic commentary every now and then.

Yes but only by a couple of minutes. My fastest was 2011 and that was in better conditions so I'm hoping to do much better next year. I'm thinking of the Lakeland 50 so that should get me up and running. Been lazy recently.
Was that you with the blonde ponytail that overtakes me just after the start?

Very good that CN, though I felt a bit seasick by the end It looked like you caught a queue jumper on camera at the Bronte Bridge. There were a couple of queue jumpers in action when I was there  . Nice to see you managed a good turn of speed at the end to finish (unlike me who shuffled across the road at the end )

    another happy customer here
didn't see as many fourmites as expected, although still quite a few: MG, Splatcher, MrsS, Tindersticks, SteveF before and Tussockface during
was determined to crack 7:30, but reached Leeshaw reser behind schedule and in a sorry state, but somehow managed to perk up a bit on the final drag up/over Penistone Hill and came stumbling in to finish in 7:26
