OK thanks Dave. Which ridge is Bristly Ridge? It's not named on my map & I'd hate to get disqualified due to ignorance. It's many years since I was on Tryfan.
Bristly Ridge is the ridge running north from Glyder Fach. It's to the left of the path shown on OS maps going down to Bwlch Tryfan. The path is down the scree.. but much safer than Bristly Ridge. BR kills a few now and again.....

What are peoples plans for vegan food ? Not really looked into it yet.
Easy enough for me as it's the same as for every long race. Kendal Mint Cake. If I'm coming up behind you, you'll smell me before you see me...
