Hiya Chris, have you ever done Rydal Round? It's pretty much the same route as Fiarfield, just a different start/finish. The bonus of Rydal is the Lakeland sportsday and you can also run the bofra race a couple of hours after Rydal race....admittingly on very heavy legs. Full day out for about £6, the downside is that it's always a midweeker (thursday) but well worth booking the day off work.

Coniston, yes I think so but haven't seen a start list. Not going to Ireland mate, falls badly with my work shift pattern.
Anyone seen any sight of a start list? With it being a bank holiday weekend, I need to plan what I'm doing around the race (if I'm in) that's all....
Well, given I've already entered days 2&3 of the Northern O champs weekend on the Sunday and Monday, it's more what the plan for the Sat is....
Another gaf by the fra, Coniston is now a trial race for Snowden and has been put on the fra front page (2-4-13) BUT the race is already full.

Most people at Cniston will be otherwise engaged on the Snowden weekend, it being Kentmere and all.
Snowdon is 19th, Kentmere is 20th.
Surely the double is on?
Or am I the only one who does stupid things along those lines (like stopping off on the way home to do an urban O race in Stockport the day after doing the Snowdonia Marathon..)
those at international level wouldn't double up (I am one of those fools who would happily do so).
