    They wouldn't get any style of house music, with it not having an attitude as such.

    Misery was the idea of grunge. I remember being at school during the height of the grunge years, everyone's coolness was directly proportional to how depressed and troubled they appeared to be and how much they listened to grunge. I recently rediscovered The Smashing Pumpkins...

    Intoxicated; with the madness,
    I'm in love with; my sadness.
    Bullsh!t fakers; enchanted kingdoms;
    Fashion victims pull their charcoal teeth.

    I never let on,
    That i was on a sinking ship,
    I never let on that i was down.

    Cracking stuff!

    Glad you had a good time merry. I remember flicking through the lead singer's (auto?)biography a while ago. Seems like he'd lived a bit. Not unlike Ozzy Osbourne (drifting perilously close to being back on topic!)

    Review of book about Bobby plugging in

    Read it Graham? Actually, more to the point, did you get asked to contribute?

    I have dozens of books on Dylan and Wald's book (I have read other books by him) is probably the most broad ranging, perceptive, knowledgeable and best written: not least because Wald isn't a "fan" but is a very analytical, intelligent and thoughtful writer.
