The debate between May and Corbyn should be quite surreal if it ever takes place. A Remainer pretending to be a Leaver against a Leaver pretending to be a Remainer.

Here you go Patrick - this is why we went down the path of workers rights.

One thing that always made me raise an eyebrow were the big signs over new roads or building projects proclaiming 'Built with EU funds'.
Whereas the truth would always have been 'Built with UK Money taken by the EU and then given back'.

I always wondered what the 'middleman' took???

While that's true, I'm not sure a UK government would have funded useful infrastructure projects such as trams in northern cities.

I thought we should have had an agreement to display this in the withdrawal agreement

Not useful to me. I don't live in a northern city.

People seem to want it both ways, they say they want to leave in order to "take back control". But as you have very clearly shown the UK allready has all the power it requires to abuse it's workforce.
What are these abuses of workers you talk about Pat?

I think you'd quite like the tram CL, you should take a trip there some day.

Hmm, I think you may be on shaky ground if you’re extolling the virtues of EU spending. All Governments can be wasteful but the EU has managed to get it down to a fine art. Their auditors invariably have to qualify their report on the grounds of material error.
