    That gate is going to be removed, so hopefully there shouldn't be a queue forming.
    Even so, the fence on the left of the gate is low enough to step over and I don't have any objection to anyone going over it

    one of the visting springfield striders will be delighted to hear that news, but it robs the rest of us of a great photo opportunity on the way down.

    Yes please, and if you could superglue the latch as well, just to make sure. You'll be guaranteed some terrific footage to go on you-tube.

    Good first race - nice to see Tussock Face, got a taciturn hi from Merrylegs. No idea who the other forumites were or why they did not say hello

    But it was a nice race and atmosphere - my performance was crap though I had nothing in my legs.
