I'm not sure I can add much more. I just wanted to get people to think a bit about what they say and how they say it. As for 'who decides?' I don't know but I tend to be guided by this: " The quality of your communication is determined by the receiver" so I try put myself in their shoes. All of this makes me sound like a really boring git so I'm going to shut up now.
