Great to be out on a hill again.
Shepards were rounding up the sheep and one made an excellent point when he questioned why everyone wants to follow the path through the bogs above Hag Dyke when you can follow the sheep trod and stop out of the mud and its a quicker route to the top.
He pointed it out and by jove he was right.
I not up to racing but I will be over with a couple of CV lads.
    See ya Saturday
I'm dying to know whether anyone followed this 'secret trod' or not.

Nope, the two CV lads who were with me last Wednesday also bottled it and followed John.

They were over the moon with their Gold Medals

I'll be there next year Peejay and it will shave minutes off my time

    Might be under 50 mins

Another great race Sir. Congrats to yourself and your helpers.

Thanks to Mr & Mrs Woodhead on a fine Yorkshire champs race.

Good job you dont live in Leeds or they would still be there in 4 years time.

I liked the way you got a little jog on after a few words of positive encouragement. Good effort

You do the running and I be the shouter

    Cheers Stagger.

I have a rather expensive looking childs lime green coat, 'Quechua' make which was left in the field. If anyone knows who owns it I would be glad to arrange its return.

    Pete,

What do you think about the trod?

With six (at least) V60 in front of me I need something special for next year.

Well if you run as slowly as Andy you can always speed up to a little jog for a few yards when someone is watching.
