Fortunatelly I live very locall to the whole round and Boundary stone, Waun Oer and Mynydd Ceiswyn are literraly my back yard. Allso my uncle owns land on the Rhobell mountain and the Dduallt so I'm Quite familiar with them as I've been his sheepdog for the past 20yrs :-). True about the section between the Dduallt and Rhobell, bit of a scram and the forest has now been half clearfelled but have found a way through that comes out at Post Garreg which gives you a good start for the Rhobell ascent.
I look at Cader idris out of my bedroom window 2 miles west and the Arran's 3miles east.
Planing to do Barmouth to the Main Dam at Trawsfynydd via Diffwys and Rhinogs sometime soon baring on a break in the racing calendar.
Will be looking at early june to do it though as Cader Race is mid May.
If Anyone fancies doing a section will be happy to help.
